Beginners: Just Getting Started
You don’t even need a ball at first!
Start with your hands in front of your chest (your “shooting pocket”).
Practice your shot slowly and try to get the “good” sound from your Apple Watch.
Once it feels easy, try using a light ball (like the TruRep Silent Ball) and shoot against a wall.
Goal: Do 10-20 TruReps each day to build good habits.
Elementary & Middle School Players: Fix Bad Habits
Got a thumb flick or a weird 2 handed push shot? TruRep fixes that fast.
Try to get the “good” sound every rep. That means your form is improving fast!
Shoot against a wall using a regular or light ball.
Can’t get the good sound? Use a lighter ball or no ball.
Goal: Do 20–30 TruReps per day and focus on clean body rhythm and follow through wrist action.
